Belgian Wrestling School is proud to present the opening of its first fully operational training facility in Flémalle.
Ever since its inception in 2006, BWS has seen many school opened, but the new center will come equipped with a functional ring, workout area and a large matted space for students to learn the art of professional wrestling.
On top of that, the facility will be available year-round to anyone who wants to use it. Students can join our Friday night class and trained wrestlers are welcome to come and hone their craft as well. And for the first time ever, we will offer private classes with trained BCWF wrestlers, including WWE/ECW veteran, Salvatore Bellomo.
The location of the new school is E. Tiyou 52, 4400 Mons-lez-Liège, with Friday night classes running from 19 to 21h.
For more information regarding classes or availability, please send us a mail at belgianwrestlingschool@gmail.com.
Last weekend, Black Cobra became second in the category Sportsman of the Year in Torhout. BWS/BCWF was nominated too, in the category Sports group of the Year. "Just being here makes us a winner", said BWS/BCWF president Salvatore Bellomo, who attended the ceremony.
Congratulations, Cobra!
We have another big story coming out of the first show of the year. BWS/BCWF president Salvatore Bellomo announced that the BCWF European Champion, The Butcher, would give up his title due to medical reasons. The vacant championship will be up for grabs in a "big tournament".
Not long after the announcement, several wrestlers came out to claim a spot in the planned tourney. We at BCWF.be have gathered that president Bellomo is working hard to put the tournament together, but he couldn't give us any details yet. As always, once we know more, so will you!
Controversy surrounded last weekend's BWS Tag Team Championship match. Eddie Dark and Andynamite captured the titles, but not without a bit of help from opponent Matt Scorpion. The latter took out his own partner Priscilla with a Superkick, before storming out of the ring. As shocked as everyone there, but ever the opportunist, Eddie quickly covered the downed champion to grab the prize.
Since that night, we didn't get an explanation out of Matt yet. Once we do, we will share it here!
